September 2014[]
The initial release of the game.
December 2014[]
Due to struggling to perform on some devices, a rewrite was completed.
June 2015[]
In June 2015, pterodactyls were implemented in the game as another obstacle to avoid.[1] They appear later in the game.
May 2016[]
In May 2016, another feature was added to the game. When the player reaches 700 points the game begins to switch between day (white background, black lines and shapes) and night (black background, white lines and shapes). Reaching a score of 900 will switch the color scheme back to day, and the switch back and forth will occur at further subsequent milestones.[2]
September 2018[]
On September 2018, the game added a birthday cake item. This item is eaten to increase the speed of the Lonely T-Rex. A party hat is displayed on the Dinosaur's head after it is eaten. Balloons become a replacement for clouds once the score 100 is reached.
